PHOTOS HAVE EMERGED of the boys rescued from the Thai cave as they receive treatment in hospital.

The images were shown to the media at a press conference in Thailand today.

The 12 boys and their coach were rescued after spending 18 days underground in the pitch dark Tham Luang cave complex.

The world has been captivated by the story of the young ‘Wild Boars’ soccer team, who went missing after a game on 23 June and were found nine days afterwards on a ledge inside the cave.

They had ventured into the cave and become trapped due to rising waters following heavy rain. An Thai rescue mission involved people from a number of different countries, who shared skills and resources to get the boys and their coach out of the cave as quickly as possible.
