Hot, sunny weather forecast as temperatures set to reach 27 degrees

Tuesday set to be a scorcher before humidity turns to rain by the end of the week

Another hot, sunny spell is upon us this week, with temperatures expected to reach 27 degrees on Tuesday.

Today will dry and sunny, becoming warm in the afternoon with temperatures of between 20 and 25 degrees.

There will be little or no wind inland and just moderate coastal sea breezes in the afternoon.

It will stay dry tonight with lowest temperatures of between 10 and 14 degrees.

Tuesday is set to be a real scorcher with highs of 27 degrees expected.

Tuesday night will be warm, humid and cloudy with a risk of heavy, thundery downpours.

That rain is expected to stay in places on Wednesday as humid, cloudy weather could lead to showery outbreaks of rain extending eastwards and some local thundery downpours.

Temperatures are expected to stay between 18 and 22 degrees while Thursday and Friday will see more fresh, blustery weather and showers.

The weekend will be fresh and breezy with sunny spells and some passing showers. Temperatures up to around 20 degrees are forecast.
