That rain is expected to stay in places on Wednesday as humid, cloudy weather could lead to showery outbreaks of rain extending eastwards and some local thundery downpours.
Temperatures are expected to stay between 18 and 22 degrees while Thursday and Friday will see more fresh, blustery weather and showers.
The weekend will be fresh and breezy with sunny spells and some passing showers. Temperatures up to around 20 degrees are forecast.
