TV stars Alan Sugar and Piers Morgan have taken their rivalry to a new level – announcing a weigh-off.
The pair came face to face with each other when Lord Sugar took a place on the sofa on Morgan’s ITV show Good Morning Britain.
They weighed themselves on live TV, with Lord Sugar coming in at 14st 3lbs, and Morgan at 16st 6lbs.
“How can a bloke who’s 4ft tall be 14 stone?” Morgan asked of Sugar, saying that the Apprentice boss was almost “obese”.
“Get in there blubber boy,” Sugar replied, pointing Morgan towards the scales.
Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid took a back seat as the pair bickered.
The two agreed to see who can lose the most weight by December, with the loser donating £5,000 to Great Ormond Street.
But Sugar replied: “I’ve got more chance of being struck by lightning.”
